This research investigates how symbolic violence—imposed through education and media—destabilizes the Self by creating a gap between the Ego and the socially disciplined Superego. By analyzing semiotics, it reveals how social roles manipulate the signified. This process leads to "existential insecurity," urging a reclaim of autonomy to stabilize one's identity against oppressive external symbols.
The story is divide into three parts, self empowerment, self exploration and identity mergence. Through those, I try to discuss the discipline of social symbols imposed on the individual selves of people, and how can we use the power of our own ego to resist this violence.
